Проведены исследования на лактирующих коровах с дуоденальными и рубцовыми канюлями по инфузии в двенадцатиперстную кишку градиентных доз крахмала на фоне разного уровня кормления. Установлено, что переваримость крахмала в кишечнике ограничена 1100г в сутки. Поскольку данный эффект ранее обнаруживался при инфузиикрахмала в сычуг, а исчезал при одновременной инфузии казеина или аминокислот, сделано предположение о регуляции переваримости крахмала в кишечнике на основе вкусовых рецепторов. Выдвинутое предположение подтверждается отсутствием о эффекта снижения переваримости крахмала под влиянием его инфузии в дуоденум за S-образным изгибом после впадения протоков поджелудочной железы и желчного пузыря.
