Мастит крупного рогатого скота приводит к значительным экономическим потерям в молочном животноводстве, связанным суменьшением надоев, выбраковкой молока, затратами на лечение больных животных, а также снижением фертильности коров, в связи с чем поиск генетических маркеров устойчивости крупного рогатого скота к маститу с целью их использования в селекционной практике остается актуальной задачей. Цель данного обзора - систематизация результатов исследований по выявлению генов-кандидатов устойчивости крупного рогатого скота к маститу, полученных с использованием методов генотипирования однонуклеотидных полиморфизмов в единичных генах, а также технологии полногеномного поиска ассоциаций.
