The trial was performed on 3 Kholmogor cows fed during 2 weeks a basic ration (BR, period I, control), BR supplemented with rumenally protected preparation of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA, 10% cis-9, trans-11 and 10% trans-10, cis 12 C18:2) at the daily dose of
