The pH-dependence of glycosidases in potential preys of ichthiophages and associated microflora of four fish species: roach Rutilus rutilus heckeli (Nord.), red-eye Sсardinius еrythropthalmus (L.), ruff Acerina cernua L. and goby Neogobius fluviatilis (Pallas). It is shown that the level of total amylolytic activity (TAA) in the whole body homogenates of ichthiophage potential preys and the associated microbiota is largely dependent on pH values. Maximal values of TAA in all fish studied species and the microbiota observed at pH 7.0, the minimal ones at pH 10.0. In the zone of acid pH (5.0) is lost until 40-50% of maximal activity. Enzymes of all potential preys of ichthiophages and associated microflora are more efficient in the intestine than in the stomach.
