The study was carried out on two groups of laying hens, fed during 9 weeks, from 24 up to 32 weeks of age, a basic diet (BD, control, n=35365 ) or BD supplemented with water soluble antioxidant dihydroethoxiquin (DHE,), 30 mg/kg of concentrate, and fat soluble antioxidant selenopyran (SP, treatment group, n=35118), 9 mg/kg. At the end of the trial, the probes of blood and eggs yolk were taken. During 9 weeks, egg production in treatment and control groups was 71.7 и 67.36% (P<0.001). In the treatment group, the total number of eggs and incubation eggs were greater by 6,54% (P<0.001) and 5,66% (P<0.001) respectively vs control. Level of HDLP cholesterol in treatment group increased (P<0.05), and that of VLDLP cholesterol decreased (P<0.01) vs control. In treatment group, there was indicated an increase in the activity of glutathioneperoxidase (P<0.05) and superoxidedismutase (P<0.1) and a decrease in MDA level (P<0.1); the same shifts were indicated in egg yolk. The mass of eggs, yolk, white protein and shell did not differ. The data obtained suggest a most biological and economic efficacy of combined inclusion of DHE and SP to poultry diets, in comparison with their individually application.
