ABSTRACT. The goal of the study was to construct feed additive for piglets with the amino acid composition identical to that in the wall of small intestine. First trial was performed on 5 sows hybrid Large White×Large Black×Duroc; milk quantity, composition and milk uptake by piglets were measured at the age 7, 14, 21 and 28 d. Maximum milk intake was registered at 28 d. On the piglets of the same sows 4 premixes were examined. Second trial was performed during the period from naissance to 105 d on 3 groups of hybrid piglets Large White×Landrace×Landrace weaned at 60 (group I), 40 (group II) and 20 d (group III). Five piglets from each group were slaughtered and the probe of blood and tissue of small intestine wall were taken at the age 15, 30, 40, 60 and 105 d for analysis of amino acid profiles. The plasma level of free amino acids in blood was increased from birth to 105 d, the increase was especially large in sum of essential amino acids (from 9.7±0.20 to 22.1±0.30 mg/dl). During this period the activity of AST and ALT and content of urea in blood plasma was decreased. Third trial was performed on 3 groups of hybrid piglets Large White×Landrace×Duroc, 20 piglets each, during period from 60 to 105 d of age. Based on the results of amino acid profile of the wall of small intestine, the feed additive was constructed with the use of rolled oat flakes (36%) and dred fat-free milk (32%) supplemented by essential amino acids. The mean LWG in the treatment group was increased by 14% (P<0.05);the value of kg feed/kg LWG was decreased by 6.2% vs control.
