A new method for assessment of nanoparticle toxicity based on recombinant yeast Yarrowia lipolytica expressing EYFP protein is proposed. In vivo luminescence of luminol induced with Reactive Oxygen Species from expanded yeast mitochondria and raising EYFP is demonstrated to be drastically induced with nanoparticles of different chemical composition. This observation allows engineering an automated express-analyzer of the nanoparticle toxicity based on luminometer.
